Golf | Tapio Pulkkanen played one of the golf rounds of his life and fights for the first victory of his career on a European tour

Finnish golfer Tapio Pulkkanen played one of the best rounds of his professional career when he scored a total of -8 in the men’s European Tour in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday at 18 and rose to third overall.

Pulkkanen has played in the tournament in the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah in three rounds to a result of -16 and is the leader of the race in Denmark. Nicolaj Höjgaardia behind four strokes. Pulkkanen and Höjgaard shared the top spot in Saturday’s round.

Pulkkanen has reached the second time in his career on the European tour for the second time. That happened last August in Prague.

Pulkkanen immediately made five birdies during holes 3-9. In all, he recorded nine birdies in the second round. The beauty flaw was one of Bogi.

“The time was right for all the pieces today. It’s nice to be able to fight for the victory for a long time tomorrow,” Pulkkanen said in a press release on Saturday.

Score +2 on Saturday played Sami Välimäki share 65th place in the overall race.
