In that game, the powerful cold that is usually felt every Christmas in London was present, so much so that the dense fog on the pitch made everyone who was in the stadium have to leave. But not everyone did.
Given that the game was interrupted on several occasions by the centre-back, in the last break Bartram sat on his goal to wait for the endorsement to play again. However, that did not happen.
15 minutes passed and the goalkeeper was still waiting under his goal the green light of the continuity of the meeting. However, through the mist he saw a shadow that was getting closer and closer to him, so Bartram thought it was the judge to give him directions.
However, he was surprised to see a stadium security guard, who told him that all the attendees had left the stadium 15 minutes ago, since the remainder of the meeting was canceled when he saw that the fog did not stop.

Bartram and the autobiography that narrates his anecdote
Time after having experienced that event, the goalkeeper wrote an autobiography in which, precisely, he narrated what he experienced in that match. He assured that the moment was very funny for him and that is why he will always remember it.
“Every time I saw less and less of the players. I was sure we were dominating the game, but it seemed obvious to me that we hadn’t scored a goal, because my teammates would have gone back to their defensive positions and I would have seen one of them. No shouts of celebration were heard either, ”he recounted.
He also commented that at that moment he was surprised because he did not see or hear anything, but he thought that it could have been the boredom of the spectators due to so many interruptions in the match.
“The only thing I did was go back to the locker room, where everyone started making fun of me for what happened. I was just smiling because the words weren’t coming out,” she exclaimed.
