German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach held a meeting with Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn, in which they exchanged views on the current situation of the Corona pandemic.
It should be noted that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz plans to hold new talks “Monday” with the heads of government of German states on how to move forward in dealing with the Corona pandemic.
Lauterbach wrote on Twitter today: “Today I spoke briefly with Oliver Kahn about football and Corona, and the conversation was very nice and exciting for me, however I am not a Bayern Munich fan.”
Lauterbach did not mention anything specific about the content of his conversation with the Bayern president, and indicated that another meeting was expected, and said: “It was agreed on the return match.”
The meeting was held a few hours before the match between Bayern Munich, the leader of the German league, against its host, Hertha Berlin, in the Olympic Stadium in the German capital.
Bayern has not yet released information about the meeting.
The German professional leagues hope that the conference of the federal government and the states tomorrow will allow the fans to return to the stadiums.
Bayern state has re-established at the present time the implementation of holding matches without a public presence.
