The association of small and medium-sized businesses in Germany called gasoline prices unacceptable
The Association of small and medium-sized businesses in Germany announced the threat of mass bankruptcy of enterprises due to high fuel prices. This is reported RIA News.
“The Federal Association of Small and Medium Businesses fears corporate bankruptcies and job losses due to high energy prices. Energy prices have become an existential issue for many entrepreneurs,” said Markus Jerger, managing director of the association.
Jerger called unacceptable the cost of gasoline above two euros per liter and the doubling of gas prices. To solve this problem, he proposed to reduce the tax on electricity to a minimum and change the system of benefits for the use of public transport.
Earlier it was reported that German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock said that Europe should remain cool on the issue of a possible embargo on energy imports from Russia. According to her, it makes no sense to impose sanctions, if then you have to say that European countries will not be able to withstand them.
