In order to enhance the expertise and skills of new generations, and guide them to combat non-communicable diseases, the Friends of Cancer Patients Association participates in supporting the “Preparing Young Leaders” program, launched by the Children’s Non-Communicable Diseases Organization, with the aim of developing the capabilities of young people
management and refining their leadership skills to reach a qualified cadre to develop national, regional and global policies on combating non-communicable diseases.
The program, which will last for two years, targets young people between the ages of 19 and 30, to form a unified platform for capacity-building by organizing training courses and specialized workshops and preparing various projects that highlight the most prominent non-communicable diseases in
the scientist.
The association’s participation in the program comes through its funding, in addition to the joining of the association’s patient affairs executive to the program team, Mr. Majed Mohamed, and working on a project entitled (Call to Action: Improving Health Care Systems in Low Income Countries).
