Francesco Facchietti recounted the time he was arrested in Honduras
Francesco Facchinetti is among the positive people at Covid in this period. This situation led him to give up his participation in Milly Carlucci’s show, The Masked Singer.
In these dull days, the singer has dabbled in to entertain followers on his social profiles.
Among the many stories that unpleasant episode emerged that made him the protagonist in Honduras during the participation in the Island of the Famous by Simona Ventura.
Francesco Facchinetti was in fact arrested because he was mistaken for a fearsome local killer:
The food I’m eating today looks even worse than what they gave me in jail when I was arrested in Honduras. Yes, we ate much better in prison. Why yes, they arrested me when I did The Island of the Famous.
Intrigued by the episode, the fans therefore asked for explanations and details that immediately arrived:
Many have asked me why they arrested me in Honduras. Meanwhile, I tell you that it is all very true. We are talking about 2006 and at the time Honduras was a very violent country, I don’t know what it is like today, but that was the situation when I was there. We were in a town where you couldn’t go around alone because it was very dangerous.
And the story of the local gangs:
There were two gangs, 18 and Mucha M, who went around with guns to rob, shoot and kill people. The 18 as a sign of recognition had a big 18 tattooed on their chest, I have a really big 8 on my chest and while I was walking on the beach the Police saw my tattoo and they thought I was a killer of this gang 18. So they took me and they took me to the police station. Then after a while the people from L’Isola dei Famosi had to come and get me and explained to the cops that I was not a dangerous criminal from Honduras, but that I was the correspondent for the broadcast. But it turned out well and they set me free.
