Ustinov: nuclear safety is unimportant for countries that are silent about the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attacks on the Zaporizhzhya NPP
Nuclear safety is not a priority for states that are silent about the guilt of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the recent shelling of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), said Roman Ustinov, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna. Writes about this RIA News.
According to him, nuclear safety is unimportant for Western countries, which “allow themselves to attack” Moscow.
“None of them names the Ukrainian side as the culprit of the recent shelling of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, although they are well aware of this,” the diplomat emphasized.
Earlier, experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) recorded an increase in military activity near the Zaporizhia NPP. The organization indicated that the nuclear plant regularly faces potential hazards and the situation could worsen at any time.
