Tapachula.- One fourth migrant caravan left this Tuesday from the Siglo 21 Immigration Station, located north from the city of Tapachula, Chiapas, with the intention of requesting their migratory regulation that allows them to reach the border with the United States.
The migrants chose to leave the city in a caravan by not accepting the proposal of officials of the National Migration Institute (INM) to give priority to women and children.
The caravan of a hundred people walks towards the “Viva México” community where they intend to close the highway to put pressure on the INM and receive the visas they demand.

George Manríquez, a Venezuelan migrant, explained that they decided to walk out because they are looking at another immigration office for the visas that have been denied in Tapachula.
The foreigners walked about 11 kilometers from the city to the first checkpoint located in the Viva México community.
Clemente Vázquez, another migrant from Honduras, advances in the caravan with a backpack as his only luggage and with the intention of leaving Tapachula in order to obtain a visa that will allow him to continue on his way to the northern border with the United States.
