“In these difficult times that the country is experiencing, I would like to thank on behalf of the Government of Chile all the expressions of sympathy, solidarity, and support that we are receiving from friendly countries and international organizations,” he stated.
“We feel that solidarity and that support and it encourages us to continue working. As a Government, the priority at this time is to fight the fire and save human lives but a list is also being prepared that includes specific needs that may also appeal to international aid “he added.
