For the Detroit Lions
:
Amon-Ra St. Brown is the first German to make a second NFL touchdown
Detroit Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions became the first German professional footballer to score the second NFL touchdown of his career. The 22-year-old passport recipient with a German mother and American father marked the 9-0 for the Lions in the duel with the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Two weeks ago, St. Brown was only the fourth professional footballer with a German passport to book his first touchdown, making it possible for the Lions to win their first season.
Defender Markus Kuhn stayed with the one touchdown for the New York Giants in his career. New England Patriots Jakob Johnson and St. Brown’s brother Equanimeous St. Brown of the Green Bay Packers are awaiting their second National Football League touchdown.
