In Espoo An apartment fire broke out on Soukankaari Road on Saturday night, the Länsi-Uusimaa Rescue Department says on Twitter.
One apartment was completely destroyed by fire. Smoke spread into the stairwell. The rescue service has ventilated the building and evacuated a couple of residents.
The Rescue Department received an alarm about a medium-sized building fire at about nine in the evening.
No injuries are known.
Correction 5.3. at 9.52 pm: The matter was reported by the Western Uusimaa Rescue Department and not by the police of Southwest Finland, as was previously incorrectly reported in the news.
