Via a post on Twitter | X, Square Enix has announced that theupdate arriving February 21st for the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth free demoin addition to the new contents, will improve the graphic quality of the game when using Performance mode at 60 fps.
We also learn from the post that these improvements will also be applied to the full version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, arriving in physical and digital stores on February 29th.
“The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo update scheduled for February 21st will apply visual quality improvements when selecting “Performance Mode” from the graphics options. The same improvements will also apply to the full game,” the message reads.
Will the issues reported by players be resolved?
As you probably know, the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo will receive an update a week after the debut in stores of the new adventure by Cloud and associates which will introduce an explorable area near the city of Junon.
Apparently this is therefore not the only novelty, given that the patch will improve the Performance mode, which in recent days had been criticized precisely for Image quality not up to expectations, with Digital Foundry specifically talking about low-quality textures and an unpleasant blurring effect. The hope therefore is that the update will resolve these issues in the demo and consequently also in the full game.
