Arcadia, a company specialized in the analysis of online conversationsexamined the large flow of news on the crisis of one of the most famous and followed couples in Italy, reporting some truly interesting results.
The object of analysis are online conversations, including comments, posts and various contents on the network, during the day of February 22nd, in which Fedez or Chiara Ferragni were mentioned. The analysis is, obviously, prudential, it excludes contents in which the couple is referred to as the “Ferragnez” or in which neither of them is mentioned. What does the survey say?
Chiara Ferragni is mentioned 7,900 times on the network in just 18 hours. Most of the comments are critical. The sentiment generated by all mentions is negative in 70.8% of cases. A higher figure than Fedez, who is cited 9,800 times; in this case, the negative sentiment stands at 62.7%.
Arcadia states that this data reflects the social strategy that Chiara Ferragni adopted after the case of the Balocco pandori:
Chiara Ferragni is still suffering a decline in reputation resulting from the so-called pandoro-gate. Her negative feeling can also be interpreted as a manifestation of discomfort in the face of her lack of responses. After the first apology video, she never addressed the issue directly again.
