Farruko made headlines with his last concert in Miami, held on February 11. The attendees present at the FTX Arena were surprised when the Puerto Rican stopped to give a testimony of his love for God, in addition to denying the content of some of his songs, such as his most recent hit “Poses” .
However, some followers went to the urban singer’s Instagram account to express their disappointment, because, as they indicate, they came to hear him sing and not “give a sermon like a religious pastor.”

Did Farruko announce his retirement from music?
One day after his presentation (which is part of the FARRUKO LA 167 TOUR), the interpreter of “Curaçao” and “Passion whine” published an extensive message on Instagram, where he assures that he is not a religious fanatic and that his mission is to preach the love.
While his post received more than 250,081 reactions and surpassed 6,000 comments, the 30-year-old artist heeded a user’s complaint and used it to announce a refund for those who were disappointed in the concert.
“We pay to see Farruko, not Carlos preaching like a pastor”wrote the netizen, who mentioned the real name of the singer, Carlos Efren Reyes Rosado.
The Puerto Rican responded by indicating that he would return the money, but not before saying: “Farruko retired and the one who is here is Carlos”. Phrase that has caused concern among his followers, as it could mean his definitive withdrawal from the reggaeton, Latin trap, reggae and dancehall genres.

Farruko: No one is obliged to go to my concerts
“Those who are going to see Farruko are in time not to go. They can be refunded. Those who go and want a new love experience are welcome. Even if only one goes, I’ll be there, and I’ll love them the same, whether they go or not.”wrote the urban artist in the description of the capture.
Then, mentioning his next concert in Fort Myers (Florida) and those that will come after, Farruko urged his fans to follow other artists that are more to their liking.
“I am only fulfilling my commitments, because I am my word and I owe respect to my fans. God is a God of order, and the platform that I have left I will use to carry the message. I love you,” she concluded.
