Experts and political analysts confirmed that the UAE aid through the air bridge, the “Red Crescent” and the medical and relief teams saved thousands of Sudanese families during the last period from the effects of torrential rains and floods, stressing that the UAE’s position is not strange because it always stands by Sudan in its crises.
The experts praised the strength of the logistical services, readiness, equipment and technology that participated in supporting the huge human effort of the Emirati institutions and the Emirati human component on the ground, pointing out that this enabled the UAE to respond quickly with the countries targeted for aid.
Al-Sadiq Khalafallah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American HDI, an expert in African affairs, said that the UAE has a permanent presence in Sudanese affairs, stressing that the UAE stood with Sudan and supported the Sudanese people in various governmental periods in Khartoum, even during the boycott. American economic.
He stressed to Al-Ittihad that the UAE’s position today in supporting the Sudanese with various aids to confront torrents and floods is not strange, but rather expected and appreciated by the Sudanese people of different political sects.
Khalafallah explained that the air bridge and the humanitarian aid from the UAE come at an urgent and sensitive time to support the affected Sudanese states, stressing his hope that the government of Sudan and its states will employ this assistance to reach the affected people in reality.
The UAE continues to provide humanitarian aid to the affected states in Sudan, within the framework of the solidarity of the UAE and its people with the brotherly Sudanese people in the face of these circumstances, and to support the efforts made by the Sudanese government and the relevant institutions to contain the humanitarian repercussions.

The Sudanese researcher pointed out that the Emirati air bridge reached the city of Al-Manaqil and roamed the villages at an appropriate time, and the UAE embassy in Khartoum supervised its delivery to the affected and the afflicted, so the Emirati shelter materials became alternative housing for their homes that were destroyed by the torrents, and according to official statistics, they amounted to 8,000 families, including entire villages that were surveyed. torrents.
Sudanese experts and officials thanked the United Arab Emirates, stressing that it always stands with the Sudanese people whenever a natural disaster passes through, which has emerged during the current flood crisis.
