Other than Metaverse, Epic whizzes into the Megaverse.
Like many other gaming companies, too Epic Games is interested in the metaverse. In the past, he announced that he would invest $ 1 billion to accelerate his vision of him by combining his intellectual property with new technologies to create innovative social experiences. We didn’t have a name for Epic’s metaverse until now but a newly registered trademark could point us in the right direction.
The brand would be called “Epic Games Megaverse“Reading its description we see that it contains a huge list of products and services, although most of them seem somewhat generic.
Epic Games has also invested in Spire Animation Studios, which has worked in animated films such as How To Train Your Dragon, Cars 2, The Lego Batman Movie, and Ratatouille. Both will work together to integrate Unreal Engine into Spire’s feature animation technology stack, providing Spire with the tools it needs to create worlds and experiences for the Metaverse.
“Spire’s talented team have decades of experience and their work has captivated audiences around the world with heartfelt storytelling and inspiring characters.“said Kim Libreri, CTO of Epic.”They are at the forefront of animation and together we will push the state of the art in metaverse entertainment“.
