A route of more than three kilometers that requires an ordinary environmental impact assessment as it has significant environmental impacts and conditions
The Association for the Custody of the Territory (Acude) and Ecologists in Action Region of Murcia have presented allegations before the General Directorate of Energy and Industrial and Mining Activity against the high voltage line that Iberdrola projects in the Sierra de Almenara.
This is an appeal before the request for administrative authorization for the construction and the environmental impact assessment study of the project for the execution of the 132 KV Hípica-Hinojar power line, between Lorca and Águilas. A project that “will cause serious damage to the Sierra de Almenara,” they say.
The projected line would cross spaces included in the Natura 2000 Network, such as the ZEPA zone of Moreras and Cabo Cope. A route of more than three kilometers that requires an ordinary environmental impact assessment as it has significant environmental impacts and conditions.
