The series brings music, comedy, and entertainment. What did you like the most?
Manuel: I think this series also brings fantasy and that is also innovative.
Manuela: Family ties and difficult ties such as mother and daughter, at a certain age, which is adolescence. It is beautiful that someone can get to see you and feel identified and with them heal some relationships. That seems beautiful to me.
April: I celebrate that these very human issues are addressed and they do not remain superficial, difficult family roles are discussed, that they get a little closer to what really happens to adolescents today and that is great, that they work things so from human experience.

What has their character demanded of each one of them?
Manuel: It was a pleasure, as well as a job, this is a passion. You already know that saying that says ‘Work on what you like and you will never work’. It demanded that we be sensitive, permeable. I think researching the 90s. The series dates back to 1994. It was a very pleasant search.
April: I rescued in all this the help of the directors who contributed great things, they did it very lovingly and I feel that this way they could get the best out of each one. He demanded that I put passion into everything.
Manuela: There is also some self-demand in this issue and what our directors did seemed important to me because they and the entire team that surrounded us made us feel very comfortable. And you don’t always get such a wonderful team.

How was the character building process?
April: He was a character that allowed me to explore, play, test. There was a lot of vocal rehearsal, dance, acting and through theatrical games things, idioms, ways of speaking were appearing. It was a great process to get to know the world of the 90s.
Manuela: The process to play Caterina was beautiful. It has many nuances, it is good, but it also has its things and you can see it angry. It has a lot of things to play with, the music from the 90s, the clothes that are beautiful and it’s what I wear every day now (laughs).
Manuel: Diego has that sensitive and deep part that also connects with Caterina and I think that was good. It is a very complete series, it has everything to give.
Manuel, what did you like the most about the 90s?
In 1994 I was not born yet, but this character, this project is a dream come true because I am passionate about music. And Diego has a rock band and I love music. I was always a defender of vintage and the truth is that working in a place where I always dreamed of is more than I could ask for. ❖
