On the occasion of the “Emirati Women’s Day” celebration, the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research held a dialogue session entitled “Enhancing the intellectual output of Emirati women and highlighting it in society”, at the Emirates Federation Library at the Center’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, which included a number of prominent female faces and successful professional experience from Emirati women.
At the opening of the dialogue session, Dr. Sultan Muhammad Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Center, stressed the need to empower and support the female component in the UAE, pointing to the importance of women’s presence in various fields of science, knowledge, scientific research and others, explaining that Emirati women’s participation and prominent presence within the work team at the Emirates Center For studies, it is nothing but an affirmation of its competence and distinct capabilities, as the center includes a number of female researchers in several disciplines, most notably political science, information technology and artificial intelligence.
The session, which was moderated by Dr. Ibtisam Ali Al Tunaiji, Acting Director of the Community Service Sector at the Center, began by introducing the attendees to themselves and the achievements they achieved, which were a source of pride and pride for them in their national path of success. The attendees valued the supportive role of the rational leadership since the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, and the great support that women in the UAE enjoy from Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Development Foundation.
