Juan Manuel Correa it lands in Endurance, and it does so precisely in the European Le Mans Series. The Ecuadorian driver has rejoined Prema, who will field a car in the LMP2 class, after having defined the crew that will compete in the WEC (Robert Kubica, Louis Deletraz, Roberto Colombo).
The 22-year-old, who fully recovered from the very serious accident at Spa-Francorchamps in 2019 which caused the death of Anthoine Hubert, had played in Prema in 2016-17 participating in the Italian and German F4. “I am excited about this return with Prema in a completely different championship from what I am used to“, Said Correa, who currently militates in Art for the Formula 3 championship. “Endurance racing has always attracted me, and what better way to make my debut than with a team that I consider like family. It will be a busy season for me, I have to split between F3 and ELMS, but I can’t wait to get started! A big thank you to Prema and my partners for this opportunity“.
Super excited to be making my endurance racing debut with @PREMA_Team this year.
This team is like family to me and I can’t wait to take on a new challenge with them.

“We cannot express how happy we are to welcome Juan Manuel back to our team“, Added the head of the team Prema Rene Rosin. “We were delighted to work with him early in his career. He is both a skilled driver and a pleasant companion, and we have been deeply inspired by what he has accomplished over the past two years. We are confident that it will adapt quickly to the new driving style, and we will have great potential for the season“.
