The difficulties of the new PES do not seem to diminish and the fans do not seem willing to take a step towards it.
After the complicated launch, Konami launched a survey to ask users for a hand in understanding the most important problems of eFootball 2022. The path for the return of the football series to its glories, after the controversial abandonment of the PES brand and the embrace of the free-to-play model, is becoming more and more tortuous. But in these difficulties, the Japanese house clings to the feedback of fans, launching an initiative to shape the game with them.
The eFootball 2022 survey –
On social media, Konami has made it known that it has opened a survey to understand which problems, among those encountered by the community, should have priority in its update program. The first update 0.9.1, originally promised for the end of October, was recently postponed to the beginning of November but it seems that the developer is still gathering ideas on what to do in the future. “With the next update v0.9.1 set for early November, we are working on future updates now and the team would appreciate your support to help us understand what we should prioritize, ”they explain from the Asian development team. “We have created a Gameplay Survey that everyone can complete to effectively collect as much feedback as possible. There are a lot of questions and it may take 10 minutes, but with your feedback we will focus on the improvements that are most important to the players. ”
The irony of the players –
The players did not take the initiative particularly well, at least on social networks, where they indulged in the clearest answers. Most of the comments are from this tenor: “Delete eFootball and bring PES back to us. Make a season update for PES 2022. Don’t launch eFootball until 2025 ”. There are those who think it is “too late” for eFootball 2022, since so many have already abandoned the game and moved on, despite the love for Konami of the good old days. Clearly, although the situation is complex, a first major update that will introduce a FUT-like mode, among other things, remains in the program (in addition to the update at the beginning of November).
