This Wednesday at 11:36 pm (local time) a 7.3 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Fukushima and Miyagi, northeast Japan, which produced a sea rise of 20 centimeters an hour later.
The tsunami warning remains in force in Fukushima, where an earthquake in 2011 caused a disaster at a nuclear power plant.
From the Japan Meteorological Agency they are warning citizens to stay away from coastal areas.

Several videos have already been shared on social networks that allow us to perceive the intensity of the earthquake, whose magnitude was 7.3 and occurred at a depth of 63.1 kilometers.
The earthquake could also be felt in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. In videos the movement of lights and infrastructures is evidenced.
The authorities of that country warn that they maintain the tsunami warning in Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures, where they point out that the height of the tsunami could reach up to a meter high.

So far there are no known reports of people killed or injured as a result of the earthquake.
According to the energy company Tepco, the earthquake generated a power outage that affected more than two million homes, 700,000 of them in Tokyo.
The earthquake was preceded by another earthquake of lesser intensity, which reached a high level of six on the Japanese scale, whose maximum is seven.
