Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, emir of Dubai, was sentenced on Tuesday, 21, to pay more than 554 million pounds, the equivalent of R$ 4.1 billion, to his ex-wife and two children .
This is the largest divorce award awarded by an English court.

According to g1, Judge Philip Moor ordered the payment of £251.5 million (US$340 million) to Princess Haya Bint Al-Hussein of Jordan, 47, and £290 million (US$385 million ) to support their children, 14-year-old Al Jalila and 9-year-old Zayed.
One of al-Maktoum’s six wives, Princess Haya fled Dubai and asked the British court to protect one of her children from a forced marriage as well as a protective measure against harassment and threats.
