It looks like the NFT game Of Dr Disrespect started off on the wrong foot: one user noticed that the site project officer used aimage of Cyberpunk 2077 taken from the teaser.
Already under attack by the NFTs of his company’s game, Dr Disrespect ended up at the center of the controversy again, although Robert Bowling tried to explain what happened as a mistake in good faith.
“This has nothing to do with Cyberpunk 2077,” the former Infinity Ward wrote. “One of our web engineers activated an optimization designed to change the image of the video on the site, but by mistake he uploaded the wrong screenshot and he’ll get a lecture. ”
A convincing explanation? Capturing a trailer image is not an immediate operation, but we certainly want to give Bowling and his team the benefit of the doubt.
Unfortunately, however, the incident comes soon after the aforementioned controversy over the addition of the NFT component to the game, and in an era in which communication is essential we can say that these first steps were not sensational.
