CFA Society Spain, a company belonging to the world network of 160 local societies of CFA Institute, the Global Association of Investment Professionals, announces the first edition of the Portfolio management simulation contest In collaboration with the Ironia platform and the support of more than twenty international managers such as ACCI, Aegon Am, Allianz Gi, Amundi, BDL, Global Colchester, Federated Hermes, Fidelity, Gam, Janus Henderson, L&M, M&G, Mirabaud AM, Morgan Stanley, Muzinich, Patrivalor, Pictet, Robeco, Robeco, Robeco, Robeco, Robeco, Robeco, Robeco, Tikehau, T. Roweprice, Wellington Management and Wisdomtree.
The contest tries to promote training through financial competition through advanced management tools that offer an innovative experience in a simulated competition. It takes place in nine months, from April 1 to December 31, 2025.
Interested professionals can now register by accessing the Ironia simulation platformwhich reproduces real market conditions. The tool includes a wide selection of investment funds, covering fixed and variable income, mixed and specialized strategies, allowing participants to test their skills in an innovative realistic and dynamic environment.
The winning portfolio will be one that obtains the best risk -adjusted profitability ratio (measured by Sharpe’s ratio). In addition, the second classified portfolio will be rewarded and the first ten positions. The Awards will be associated with financial education and the Ironia platform.
The awards will be delivered to an exclusive event organized by the ASSET Management Committee of CFA Society Spain in which there will be relevant representatives of the Spanish financial industry and the main international managers.
