Update that will make a difference for DirectX 12.
An important news is coming up on Windows 11 and that will make gamers and content creators who already use it happy: a new video encoding will soon be implemented DirectX to support GPU acceleration for various applications such as video decoding and video processing. This will undoubtedly improve the workflow for anyone using hardware acceleration.
The first video cards to be supported will be the Nvidia with Turing and Ampere architectures, the Intel ARC while, in the course of 2022, it will also be the turn of AMD, from the 5000 series upwards. As far as CPU support is concerned, we have Intel Tiger Lake, Ice Lake and Alder Lake arriving over the next year; for AMD, Ryzen 2xxx series and up.
All this should also improve the streaming of content on the various platforms, including Twitch and YouTube, allowing a better optimization of the resources available, improving the video quality.
