Both adorns a green lawn in the middle, both of them are built with exposed concrete, and the list ended – until Thursday evening, when Jonathan Burkardt and Nadiem Amiri already performed historical with kick -off. As the first Mainz duo in football history, they ran together in the starting eleven of a German national team. And two Mainz in the legendary, Giuseppe Meazza dedicated to Milan Stadium, which perceives the majority of the urban population as a kind of holy site – it hadn’t seen that yet.
