According to the “Wam” agency, the easing of restrictions imposed due to “Covid 19” was announced during the media briefing of the UAE government on the developments of the Corona virus.
Al Dhaheri revealed the updates that have been taken in various sectors, provided that the implementation will take place starting from Wednesday, 28 September.
Procedures included; Stopping the announcement of the daily numbers of “Covid-19” developments, given the remarkable recovery that the UAE is witnessing, and due to the decrease and stability in the number of cases.
As for the green traffic system, it has been updated through the obligation to conduct a periodic examination every month for those vaccinated and exempt from vaccination requirements, and the mandatory periodic examination every seven days for those who are not vaccinated.
He stressed that the green traffic system is still a mandatory condition for employees and visitors to enter the workplaces of the federal authorities, in addition to linking the green traffic system to workers in the tourism and economic sector.
Reducing the restrictions of the muzzle
He explained that wearing masks is still mandatory in medical facilities, mosques and public transportation, and that all food service providers, injured and suspected cases must wear masks, in order to preserve the safety of society, especially the most vulnerable groups.
He added, “In other words, wearing a muzzle is optional for all other open and closed facilities and places, but we recommend to the public the importance of wearing a muzzle for senior citizens, residents and owners of chronic diseases in order to preserve their safety and health.”
He pointed out that with regard to the requirements of mosques and places of worship, the procedures followed in them were eased, as the distance separator between worshipers was abolished, with the need to adhere to prayer on the personal carpet in order to preserve public health.
He noted the obligation to wear a mask in mosques and places of worship in order to preserve the health of the most vulnerable groups, including senior citizens, residents, people of determination and those with chronic diseases.
Tourism sector regulations
He reiterated that the tourism sector, which includes hotels and their facilities, parks and entertainment venues, and the economic sector, which includes all centers and shops, in addition to various events, are of course vital and active sectors. Therefore, the requirement of green traffic with its new updates is valid for access to it, and it also leaves the organizer of the various events to decide to tighten the procedures based on the developments of the situation, the importance of the event and the level of attendance.
He said that with regard to the aviation sector, the sector is working with precautionary and preventive measures according to the national aviation protocol, while it is left to airlines to decide whether or not to wear a muzzle on planes.
He explained that the requirements for the examinations of those leaving the vaccinated and non-vaccinated people are determined based on the request of the destination to be traveled to, as for those coming to the country, the current protocol applied is still valid for the vaccinated and non-vaccinated.
He said that with regard to the education sector, the sector is working with precautionary and preventive measures according to the national protocol for education as well, noting that the procedures have been updated by optional wear of the muzzle in closed and open places and the update on the green traffic system on what was announced for educational facilities in advance.

With regard to the system of isolating the injured, he said, “The health sector decided to reduce the period of isolation for the injured to five days, whether the isolation was domestic or institutional, while the employer bears the responsibility for institutional isolation, an example of this is the labor cities.”
He pointed out that with regard to the system of contacts, it is satisfied with the PCR laboratory examination when symptoms appear, “We also recommend those in contact with the most vulnerable groups of senior citizens, residents, people of determination and those with chronic diseases, to conduct a laboratory examination and follow up their health status for 7 days of contact.”
Dr. Saif Al Dhaheri, the official spokesman for the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, said that the whole world is currently witnessing a phase of stability and recovery for Covid-19 in general, and most countries have already announced a number of measures to alleviate Covid-19 restrictions that It was developed by countries, including the UAE, to protect its property and people from the epidemic.
