Investigations continue into the death of Sara Pegoraro, the young model from Treviso who died of an overdose. The investigators entered a person in the register of suspects, on charges of manslaughter.
This is the psychiatrist who visited the girl after another overdose and who, according to the indictment, has underestimated his situation. Sara Pegoraro had been hospitalized following another overdose and the doctor from Usl 2, who also works at the Mental Health Center, had visited her and had her dischargedjust the day before the tragedy.
According to the prosecutor, however, the psychiatrist did not realize the serious state of the young model, who had also manifested suicidal impulses.
Sara had been admitted to the hospital after she felt sick in front of a supermarket. It was passers-by who alerted the rescuers. They had seen her stagger in a daze and then, finally, fall into a ditch. After the treatment, the doctors had decided to discharge her.
But it wasn’t the only episode. Not long ago, the girl had always felt ill from drug use. Mom found her in serious condition and she called 911. Her doctors had her saved just in time and at the end of her hospitalization, she was discharged.
Autopsy on Sara Pegoraro’s body requested
The judicial authority has requested theautopsy, which will be performed on 8 July and which will serve to clarify what type of substance Sara Pegoraro has taken and in what quantity. The agents are also trying to trace her pusher, who may have sold her one fatal dose.
Sara Pegoraro was 26, she was sunny and happy. She wanted to be an influencer and model, but drugs ruined every dream of her. Her mother, who found her lifeless in their home, said her daughter was a lot sensitive. More sensitive than any young man his age. He struggled with his monsters and his ghosts and, sadly, he had found refuge in heroin.
