Cupra announced some technical refinements for the model Leon e-Hybrid. With the introduction of chassis and drivetrain changes for the two e-Hybrid variants – 204hp and 245hp – there should be significant improvements in performance and handling.
The changes inside and outside the car are different. Refinements to the chassis made the Leon e-Hybrid 25mm lower, improving aerodynamics. The version is now compatible with the brakes Brembo. Brembo calipers combine with larger disc brakes than the standard options (370x32mm) which are also drilled with four pistons, offering greater braking performance. When equipped with such brand brakes, the car also incorporates sport struts with a higher camber.
The plug-in hybrid can be configured in two configurations, defined as CUPRA and VZ CUP; the latter has special seats, positioned lower for a more dynamic ride. The VZ CUP is a tribute to models CUP Competition and these seats, referred to as CUPBucket, are available in Dark or Petrol Blue leather.
The exterior has other changes to further enhance the character of the car, such as the rear spoiler in copper carbon fiber (only for the 5-door variant), the Dark Alu side skirts and the optional side mirror covers, also in copper carbon. .
