Eight variants, ten one offs and a total of 11,465 copies – but now it’s done. The last Lamborghini Aventador has rolled off the production line. Watch and cry with us as that last Aventador, an Ultimae Roadster, gets screwed together. It is also the last Lambo with a pure, naturally aspirated V12 engine.
It also had to be the case that the last Lamborghini Aventador is this model and has this color: the translation of what the Aventador has been. It was a real game changer when it was announced in 2011, just like the Miura and Countach were in their day. For example, the Aventador was the first production car of its kind where the monocoque consisted of a single piece of carbon fiber. A year after the introduction of the Aventador came the first Aventador Roadster.
End of an era
The basic recipe for the Aventador has always remained the same. They take a V12 engine and build around it the most extravagant body you can imagine. This made it a real poster car, just as a Lambo should be. Eleven years later, he has not lost any of that, as you can see in the photos of this last example.
The last Lamborghini Aventador therefore immediately has the latest 6.5-liter V12 engine, with an output of 780 hp and 720 Nm of torque. Within 2.9 seconds you are at 100 km/h, within 8.9 seconds at 200 km/h after which you can extend it to 355 km/h. The last Lamborghini Aventador has already been given to a happy owner in Switzerland, but we will miss him so much.
