You guys thieves attacked the children's indoor basketball tournament played at the Momentum sports center in Pori on Saturday, Southwest Finland Police Department tells.
The players' belongings were stolen from the locker rooms during the tournament. According to the information received by the police, mainly mobile phones and wallets were stolen from the children.
“The extent of the children's disappointment and hurt in this case could only be guessed,” says the police.
Two local men are suspected of the crime, both of whom are described as well-known to the police. One of the suspects was quickly caught near the scene, and the other in the afternoon in the center of Pori.
“At times, all available police resources in Pori were used to investigate the case and hunt down the suspects,” says the police.
The police have arrested both suspects and taken possession of the stolen mobile phones. The police will return phones to their owners during the evening.

According to the police, valuable personal property should be kept in a safe place – during tournaments and on trips to the game, for example, in the guardian's backpack and possession.
