The incidence of Covid cases is growing today in France, exceeding 100 cases per hundred thousand inhabitants for the first time in two months. Today’s bulletin, records 70 deaths in the last 24 hours and 7,361 patients currently hospitalized, of which 1,257 in intensive care. Yesterday there were 7,111 Covid patients in hospital, with 1,210 in intensive care.
The incidence rate in the last week, writes ‘Le Parisien’, has grown by 40% compared to the previous seven days. Today the incidence on 100 thousand inhabitants has exceeded 100 cases. An estimate of its real value, taking into account the physiological drop in cases recorded after the weekend, reaches 117.2 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants. More than a third of the departments have an incidence rate above 100, while almost all of them exceed 50.
