On Saturday 9 July at 4.00 pm, the official inauguration of the 12th Concours d’Elegance City of San Pellegrino Terme. To communicate it is theAutomotoclub Storico Italianowhich is an integral part of the speech since the event is part of the calendar of ASI Tricolor Circuit.
At the end of the ceremony there will be a parade and the presentation of the forty participating cars, witnesses of almost one hundred years of history and style on four wheels. The oldest car, in fact, is a 1923 Lancia Lambda Torpedo, the most modern a 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena.which falls into the special category dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Prancing Horse, founded in Maranello in 1947. Furthermore, among the oldest examples, there is also a Bugatti Type 44 from 1929, a whites S5 Mille Miglia from 1933 and one Launch Artena Ministeriale from 1940. Another category is reserved for the evolution of Italian mechanics and design, which includes, among others, icons such as theAlfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS from 1950, theAbarth 750 GT from 1958 and the Maserati Mistral of 1967.
After the car show it will be time for the motorcycles, which will arrive at Villa Gromo after completing a tourist route in the valleys and on the passes of the Orobie Alps. Fifty selected models from the 1920s to the 1950s, representing the most famous European and American brands: Moto Guzzi, Gilera, Bianchi, Norton, Renè Gillet, BMW, Triumph, Indian, Harley-Davidson.
Sunday 10 July the stage of the 2022 Competition will be viale Papa Giovanni XXIII in San Pellegrino Terme, where cars and motorbikes will remain on display for the public and for the judgments of the jury. At 12.30, after the show, the winners will be unveiled and the awards ceremony will be held. The inauguration will take place with the presence of the Minister of Tourism Massimo GaravagliaAlberto Scuro, president of ASI, and Ugo Gambardella, president of the Orobico Club organizer of the competition.
