The Spanish National Police arrested a woman 27 year old Colombian in the city of Alicante, Spain, because its ex-boyfriend reported being a victim of harassment through different social network profiles, receiving multiple threats.

According to information from EFE, the man, a victim of Internet harassment, had maintained a romantic relationship with the woman. However, When the courtship ended, he noticed the intimidating messages of different profiles.
In this way, he decided to report to the authorities of the European country the situation that prevented him from leading a normal life, since I received persistent calls and messages with the intention of annoying him.
This is how the Spanish National Police carried out an investigation that lasted three months, since identifying who was the person behind the threats from the different false profiles was a complex situation.

However, after great insistence, the Spanish authorities identified that One of the profiles from which the threats were made against the victim was that of the 27-year-old woman, with whom he had ended the relationship some time ago.

The victim was subjected to harassment that was reflected in threats, the publication of her personal data and the involvement of third parties in this type of attitude towards the victim. This is popularly known as 'cyberstalking', an Anglo-Saxon term that means “stalking through technologies.”
