Hit first, hit hard, no mercy. The adventure will come to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
Despite not having originally premiered on Netflix, Cobra Kai knew how to become over time one of the biggest phenomena of the streaming service in a series set in the same universe as the martial arts action film The Karate Kid. Its success was such that in 2020 the video game industry was infected with Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues, which now, in 2022, receives a new installment.
Under the name of Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising, a fighting adventure is presented where you will have to choose between three dojos (Eagle Fang, Cobra Kai, Miyagi-Do), recruit the most powerful team, master a fighting style and battle until becoming the grand champion of the All Valley Karate Tournament. No release date yet, the game will arrive in PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
No images of the project have been shared, but we do know that Flux Games will once again be behind its development under the GameMill Entertainment edition. This, together with the first details shared, make us expect a video game that improves and expands on some of the features of the original 2020 release.
Key features include exciting game modes, including an engaging storyline where you’ll have to fight for the All Valley trophy, and the chance to take part in iconic moments from the show in Cobra Classics. In total there will be 28 playable characters, who will be able to collect chi and coins to increase your abilities. Likewise, an online tournament is mentioned without deepening.
We accompany the news of a gameplay of the first Cobra Kai, and we invite you to read the analysis of Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues to decide whether or not to buy this first video game or get a more complete idea of the series.
