The Nicolaus group of the Pagliara brothers debuts in the sector of high altitude mountain and is awarded the management of the Grand hotel Cristallo in Cervinia, one of the most iconic structures in the Alps.
A little over a month after the launch of the brand new dynamic packaging and the brand Turquoise, the Nicolaus Group presents the third important news, destined to leave its mark and trace the second half of the path of Valtur: the brand will, in fact, make its debut in mountain programming with a highly prestigious structure such as Valtur Cervinia Ski Resort & Spa, ex club med Cristallo until 2020.
Valtur will directly manage the resort for over 10 years through the hotel management company within the Group, coordinated by the Hospitality Division Manager Giuseppe Cavallo. The company is currently engaged in coordinating together with the ownership of massive works of renovation, for a value that is around 20 million euros.
The new Valtur Cervinia it is one of the most iconic structures in the entire Alps, which have made the history of high altitude tourism. With 230 keys and different housing solutions provided, it has in its position one of the significant assets: offers a spectacular close-up view of the pyramid of the mount Cervino, a few meters from the departure of the Cielo Alto chairlift and the cable car of Plain Maison.

The entry into the roster of structures Valtur takes place following a rigorous selection process for management and marketing, which the Lavezzari family, owner of the complex, launched and conducted with the support of Ernst & Young. The award procedure was decidedly tight, with an important focus not only on the offer but also on the solidity and validity of the project, and saw over 60 Italian and international groups take the field. Having won the management, the Nicolaus Group formalizes with great satisfaction the opening date, scheduled for the soft opening already for thesummer 2022.
The contract was signed last September 20, but only now formalized, and Nicolaus plans to fully express the potential of the resort associated with the proprietary brand Valtur, giving life, in collaboration with the famous Milanese studio Architecture Sordina Torno Partners, to a visionary restyling project of all the different sections of the complex: rooms and common areas, internal and external. This new acquisition will represent for Valtur the first and important operation of thesuchan lifestyle resort in the mountain destination.
