Cali lost again, this time against Envigado, at the start of date 5

Deportivo Cali lost 1-0 against Envigado in the South Stadium Park, for the start of date 5 of the BetPlay League. The sugar team did not have a good game and due to an error in defense, added its fourth defeat of the tournament against ‘the heroes’ quarry’.

In the 41st minute, the visitors were unable to reject the ball well in an attack by the locals, Juan Tegue finished off with power from outside the area, Humberto Acevedo left the rebound that Diego Moreno received and gave the final pass to Jesús Hernández who without any mark, pushed it for 1-0.

Deportivo Cali’s next outing will be this Wednesday for the first leg of the Super League, in which it will host Deportes Tolima in Palmaseca and Envigado on the next date of the league, will visit Unión Magdalena in Sierra Nevada.
