The president of Bnl-Bnp Andrea Munari
The industrial plan with the sale of a business unit to Accenture and CapGemini
It’s the French CapGemini the group to which Bnl-Bnp Paribas wants to sell its business unit with the activities of information technology, a sale to which the banking unions who have hired with the bank led by Elena Goitini a tough tug-of-war against workers leaving the bank perimeter.
According to what appears to Affaritaliani.it, self Bnl-Bnp as already circulated in recent months, it intends to outsource the activities of back office assigning them to Accenture, for theIT instead the plan is to sell it to the global IT consulting giant from 270 thousand employees and listed in Paris.
The formula that management intends to adopt is the same as that envisaged for back office or the establishment of a newco which should take the corporate form of a Srl to which to confer the branch the company with about 400 employees, newco of which to then assume a minority share.
The outsourcing, which would then allow the bank controlled by the first French credit institution to focus on management activities and commission revenues, cutting costs due to the growing competitive pressure of the banking sector, has by object a total of almost 900 employees, about the 10% of the bank’s workforce already owned by the Treasury, more or less equally distributed between the two functions.
The opening of the new procedure signed by Goitini just took over the helm of the bank ad Andrea Munari is in the center of a difficult negotiation, since June, with employee representative associations. A new one is scheduled for Tuesday 7 December round of meetings.
