The Russian warship “Cesar Kunikov” was sunk in the Black Sea near Crimea by Ukrainian drones: the Kiev press reports. “The Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the Military Intelligence Units (GUR), destroyed the large amphibious assault ship of the occupiers 'Caesar Kunikov',” reads a note published by the Ukrainian General Staff on its social networks, which makes press rumors official. According to the brief statement, the Russian warship was destroyed in the territorial waters that legally belong to Ukraine near Alupka, in the south of the occupied Crimean peninsula. Ukrainian military intelligence also confirmed the sinking operation of the 'Caesar Kunikov', which according to GUR was destroyed by a Ukrainian naval drone Magura. According to data from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, since the beginning of the war Russia has lost a third of its Black Sea fleet due to Ukrainian attacks with drones or missiles
