Less than a month before the end of the year, it’s time to take stock and FormulaPassion is also preparing its special report cards. No votes from one to 10, however, but a simple restricted ranking, with only 5 models per category. These are the cars that have left their mark, according to the automotive editorial team in this 2021, grouped into 4 different families: SUVs, supercars, utility cars and electric cars.
2021 will likely be remembered as one of the worst years for the automotive industry. If the stabilization of the pandemic had rekindled hopes for a recovery in the auto sector, the chip crisis it immediately sapped the optimism, forcing the car manufacturers to run for cover with a rationalized production, stop at the factories and assembly which in some cases was drastically reduced. In this scenario, however, there were many models that debuted during the year and arrived on the road, leaving their mark on the market for the most varied reasons. From supercars, to ever-increasing electric cars, passing through stainless steel cars to SUVs, the size increasingly preferred by motorists. The FormulaPassion editorial team is ready to choose: in the coming weeks, several pieces will be launched that will describe our best of, with the cars chosen. Which models have earned the place of honor in our Best of 2021? We will have to wait a few more days to find out, we start already Wednesday 8 December with the first Best of in the electric category.
