The heads of Department and Cabinet of the Central Bank sent a letter to the board of the autarchy in which they express concern about the lack of progress in the salary demands of the civil servants of the agency and cite the creation of a productivity bonus as fundamental, after being warned that they would be no readjustment this year.
In the document, which was obtained by the broadcastemployees in management positions pointed out risks to the deliveries of the innovation agenda, the BC#, and the other strategic initiatives of the house.
Servers have been on strike since April 1st, in search of salary recomposition and career restructuring, which has impacted several BC services and disclosures, leaving the market “in the dark”. Last Friday, the 3rd, the president of BC, Roberto Campos Neto, warned unions that there would be no salary readjustment for the body, in line with the current speech of President Jair Bolsonaro.
But Campos Neto said that a draft of a Provisional Measure would be sent to the government with the non-salary guidelines, which involves defining the career as typical of the State, a higher education requirement for the competition to become a technician at the agency, changing the name of the analyst position. for auditor and the creation of the supervisory fee.
In the letter, however, the Department heads ask for the “immediate reinsertion of remuneration for institutional productivity in the draft MP and persevering sponsorship in its process”.
They point out that the draft presented does not have any measure that addresses the issue of salary recomposition in the face of inflationary losses in recent years and “existing asymmetries”.
Without advances in this agenda, the servers point out that there are risks that can impact the ability to attract and retain personnel and the productivity of the servers, “making management impossible” at the BC.
“The permanence of this scenario makes the climate unsustainable, with extremely negative impacts on the activities in general and on the operational side of this BCB. Thus, the deliveries of the BC# agenda and the other strategic initiatives of this House are unfeasible”, they added.
Faced with the information that they would be left without readjustment and the assessment that advances are needed in the non-wage agenda, the category decided yesterday to keep the strike indefinitely. The president of the National Union of Employees of the Central Bank (Sinal), Fábio Faiad, also reported that the servers reduced the demand for salary recomposition from 27% to 13.5%.
