Fence runner Annimari Korte says on Instagram that he will end his collaboration with his Spanish coach Rafael Blanquerin with.
In his update, Korte praises Blanquer for changing Kortte’s life by making the reporter an athlete again.
“In just over a year, Rafa made a fit journalist a Finnish record holder,” he says.
“I started training with Rafa in the spring of 2018, and in the summer of 2019 I broke the Finnish record.”
Korte writes that he is forever grateful to Blanquer, but now is the time to move on.
“With new setbacks, it’s time for new challenges and a new coach. I am really excited, ”Korte writes.
Runner the long-symptomatic hind legs were cut after the Tokyo Olympics, followed by a long period of rehabilitation.
In August, Korte told Helsingin Sanomat that his goal is to have trouble-free preparations for next summer’s European Championships and World Championships.
