Brazil begins its journey at the Kitakyushu Artistic Gymnastics World Championship (Japan), at 9:45 pm (Brasilia time) this Monday (18), trying to increase its number of achievements in the event. Since 2001, the Brazilian team has already achieved 14 medals.
The Brazilian representatives (Arthur Nory, Caio Souza and Rebeca Andrade) have already taken action this weekend, performing the podium training at the Kitakyushu City Gimnasium.
While Caio Souza competes in the general individual, Arthur Nory’s goal is to reach the final of the fixed bar (a device in which he is world champion). “He [Nory] is focused here at the Worlds, training very well. Gymnastics is time. It’s getting the series right and moving on to the final. The focus is now on the qualifier. In the final, we will have the eight best classified, and may the best win”, declared coach Marcos Goto.
