Arcane is conquering the public with its content, and users have just got to see the fourth, fifth and sixth episode of the new series Netflix based on the universe of League of Legends, and at the end of the last episode a mysterious character appears as leader of the Firelight: that’s who it might be.
Before continuing with the reading, we warn you that the text may contain spoilers, and it is therefore advisable to proceed with caution. For all the details on the new 3 episodes, we refer you to our review with spoilers.
At the end of the last episode we see a strange character with humanoid features, even if unrecognizable due to a mask, take the body of You and take it away in flight, thanks to a hoverboard able to get up from the ground and whiz in a few seconds, until it is able to avoid the numerous blows of his sister Jinx.
It looks like the leader of the Firelights in Arcane is Ekko, a character already known to all players in the universe of League of Legends, able to partially control the time inside the MOBA’s Riot Games. In fact, the character has already seen himself as a child, as he is wielding some contraptions in his shop, but following the timeskip of the series its entity is still completely mysterious.
Other than the visual similarities between the character’s look in LOL and the mysterious leader in Arcane, it must be said that apparently the masked man has no intention of killing Vi, since he would have already had the opportunity to do it, and could therefore have kidnapped her to save her from the madness of her sister Jinx.
We will receive confirmed answers only with the release of the next episodes of the series, which fortunately do not miss much, since – as explained in our dedicated in-depth analysis – we will know more on the day of November 20.
