The determination was made this Monday (May 6) and is valid until May 10; the region is in a state of public calamity
O TST (Superior Labor Court) determined this Monday (May 6, 2024) the suspension of the counting of procedural deadlines in the Labor courts located in Rio Grande do Sul or the TRT-4 (Regional Labor Court of the 4th Region).
The measure is provided for in Administrative Resolution 2,565, of May 6, 2024, valid from May 2 to 10. Here’s the complete (PDF – 174 kB).
The determination also establishes suspension of deadlines for processes in which the parties are the State of Rio Grande do Sul or municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul.
The measure is due to the public calamity situation in the South, decreed by the state government and recognized by the Executive after heavy rains.
Until the last bulletin released this Monday (May 6), at 6:45 pm, RS has 85 deaths and more than 1 million people affected by the storms.
Therefore, the following are suspended until May 10th:
- procedural deadlines;
- hearings and trial sessions, including telepresence;
- expertise; It is
- compliance with orders and face-to-face assistance.
