Spiderman: no way home brought back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in their respective versions of the arachnid superhero. However, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures would be exploring the Spider-Verse in more depth, which could translate into expanding the intellectual property of the ‘Wall-crawler’ with famous characters related to its narrative in the comics.
According to what was reported by the Giant Freaking Robot portal, Sony would have Anya Taylor-Joy in its sights to play its new version of Black Cat. However, no further details of the project are available. Even so, fans have already shared some fan arts and the result is exciting.

For the past decades, live-action Spider-Man projects have been run by Sony. The study has been successful with the trilogy directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire, which they sought to replicate with the reboot with Andrew Garfield, although without so much luck, as their saga was not completed.
Following these efforts, the firm partnered with the company led by Kevin Feige to introduce Tom Holland as the new ‘Spidey’, this time as part of the UCM. Thanks to public acceptance, Sony’s Spider-Man Universe was announced, which also includes Venom movies, and future releases of Morbius and Kraven the Hunter.
In that sense, they will most likely first seek to endow Black Cat with a solo story before relating her to some of her fellow villains. In addition, the world of comic book characters is no stranger to Taylor-Joy, as she has already played the powerful Magik in The new mutants.
