The race had started with the local race, with the participation of 34 boats, all lined up at the starting line before announcing the start of the race by raising the green flag to mark the beginning, to sail strongly towards the finish line, which witnessed the arrival of “Storm 36” first after a competition with the second-placed boat Atlas 39, whose owner Hamdan Saeed Jaber, led by Al Nokhatha Hassan Al Hosani, while the boat Dalma Marine 7 owned by Ibrahim Al Marzouki and led by Al Nokhatha Abdullah Al Marzouki came in third place.
As for the open class run, which brought together 14 boats representing the boats of the brothers from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the teams of institutions, it witnessed the superiority of the Bahraini boat “KHK54”, which first reached the finish line, followed by the boat No. 89 F3, while the boat number 46 The Mataf Society for Heritage and Naval Arts, led by Al-Nokhatha Ali Al-Maamari, came in third place.
