H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met in Washington, DC, with HE Nikos Dendias, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Republic of Greece. During the meeting, they discussed friendship and strategic partnership relations between the UAE and the Republic of Greece, and ways to enhance prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields. The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, including developments in the eastern Mediterranean, and the importance of consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the region.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the UAE-Greek relations are witnessing continuous growth and development in many fields, in light of the strategic partnership that brings together the two friendly countries. His Highness indicated the keenness to enhance the prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields, in a way that achieves their common interests and benefits their peoples. The meeting was attended by Yousef Manea Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States of America.
