A 63-year-old man was injured with a head injury when he was run over on Paseo Alfonso XII in Cartagena, at the pedestrian crossing of the Naval Museum, according to sources from the Emergency Coordination Center on its website.
The 112 has received several calls from 9:30 a.m. alerting that a pedestrian had suffered a severe blow to the head after being run over, but was conscious.
Local Police of Cartagena and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) of the 061 Emergency and Health Emergencies Management have traveled to the scene of the accident. Once treated and stabilized, the injured man was transferred to the Santa Lucía hospital, in the port city , for a more accurate assessment.
